We see you, Rita Ora! The singer will design “a series of capsule collections” for Adidas Originals, and fans of the star are already itching to get their hands on what will probably be the coolest workout gear we’ve ever seen.
But it’s not just the super fun clothes we’ll get to wear that have us cheering; this is the first time Adidas Originals has collaborated with a female artist!
Inspired by Ora’s accomplishment, we put together a list of other female-driven collaborations we’d love to see ASAP! Here are our top picks:
+ Taylor Swift + Bic
We still can’t believe that whole Bic for Her situation, so we’re giving the company a chance to redeem itself by partnering with one of the greatest song-penning singers of our time. We can see it now: lots of vintage-inspired, red-colored pens for boys and girls with proceeds benefitting songwriting workshops around the country! Grab a pen, Bic, and write this down because we think we’re onto something!
+ Zoe Saldana + Danskin
It’s been years, and we’re still not over “Center Stage.” Zoe Saldana stole our hearts in her debut role, and we never really got them back. We love that she’s focusing on heroes in her upcoming AOL series, but we wanted to give Saldana the chance to be the hero we all admire. Who wouldn’t want a pair of Saldana-influenced dancewear to take to the club or, you know, just out and about? She could even donate the proceeds to organizations that help kids get to dance classes! That sounds like it deserves a standing ovation to us!
+ Lupita Nyong’o + Crest
If anyone is an “It” girl right now, it’s Lupita Nyong’o. We love that Nyong’o is as popular as, well, she deserves to be, and thankfully that shows no signs of slowing down. In her next gig, we’d love to see the starlet team up with a brand like Crest so she could keep the momentum from her “Sesame Street” performance going forever! What’s better than Lupita Nyong’o teaching kids how to smile? Nothing! And since she’s clearly a fan of the younger demographic, she could donate a portion of the proceeds to an organization like I Am That Girl!
+ Chrissy Teigen + Taco Bell
This should come as no surprise to Chrissy Teigen fans. Even though she’s a Sports Illustrated supermodel, Teigen has made no effort to hide her love affair with Taco Bell. We’re not sure what the dream menu item collaboration would look like, but if Chrissy is involved, we’re sure it’ll be delicious! And since Teigen and husband John Legend are so concerned with giving back, maybe these fictional tacos could help feed hungry children? A one-for-one model sounds pretty tasty to us!
+ Emma Watson + Office Depot
Ok, this might sound a little off the wall, but hear us out! Watson not only graduated from Hogwarts at the top of her class, but she also is graduating from Brown University this Sunday! The actress has always made a point about putting her education first, and we’d love to think of future generations of scholars being able to pick up notebooks and folders with Emma-approved images on them. Also, Watson’s history of philanthropy is well documented; these school supplies could be one more way she could give back to her favorite causes!
