Women have been taking more and more selfies of themselves with colostomy bags to take away the stigma, and men are joining in, too! Male model Blake Beckford has snapped pics with his bag, saying, “I am determined to show people and society that having a stoma doesn’t change who you are. It doesn’t mean you’re not normal. It means you can achieve anything you want to do, you can be attractive and you can lead a normal life.” Preach!

We know Harry Potter had an impact on fandom and literacy, but what about … American politics? A new book theorizes that the series’ strong stance on equality helped influence millennials in their voting. The theory can’t really be proven either way (and it has its supporters and detractors), but The Harry Potter Alliance shows the series has definitely helped with pro-social causes.
